My poems and moments began asking, then insisting, that I maintain personal integrity and do the next right thing, for them. They knew, and still do, that this book must be; saying “you have a responsibility, to us.” Knowing that’s true, for any LGBTQs experiencing spiritual abuse, invisible mental health issues, and so much unseen beauty. All of this telling me YOU-HAVE-NO-CHOICE but to tell our stories with your writing.
....with emphasis on the experience of marginalized LQBTQ+ human lives, finding strength to deny the spiritual abuse and lies we are continuously taught to believe, and fear, about ourselves; then, seeing the beauty and purpose of saying what that journey is like, out loud in the open sunlight, with survivor’s pride.
